La troisième école financée par la Fondation Bel est prête ! Un grand merci à cette fondation. Grâce à elle nous pourrons scolariser une quarantaine d'enfants supplémentaires pour la rentrée de septembre.

La confection des tables et bancs prise en charge par l'ASMF (Anciens Saint Michel de France) a pris un peu de retard. Ils seront quand même prêts pour accueillir les enfants après les vacances. Nous adressons nos sincères remerciements à cette association.

Tout va pour le mieux dans notre petit village. L'autonomie se met doucement en place. Durant l'année écoulée, deux grands pas on été faits. Le premier est une cantine pour les enfants de l'école. Les plus petits mangent tous les vendredis, c'est le jour où ils sont dans les champs. Les plus grands sont dans les champs tous les jours, ainsi ils ont un repas quotidien. Dans la diversification de leur alimentation, nous sommes aidées par une organisation financée par la Banque Mondiale : la SEECALINE. La responsable locale de cette organisation vient un vendredi par mois pour dispenser un cours d'éducation alimentaire.
Everything is for the best in our little village. Autonomy slowly takes place. During the past year, two major steps were made. The first is a canteen for the school children. The youngest eat every Friday, it is the day they are in the fields. The older are in the field every day, this is why they have a daily meal. Regarding the diversity of their alimentation, we are helped by a World Bank-funded organization: SEECALINE. The local representative of the organization comes one Friday per month to provide a food education class.
